Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what is needed to get your order to you, plus your email address if you choose to join our VIP list. We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email address, shipping address and what you bought. We need all of it to fulfil the order.
- Messages you send us through the contact form, so that we can answer them.
- The VIP list (Torres Money), only if you sign up: your email address, your first name if you give it, when you signed up, and the exact wording you agreed to. We use it to send your Torres Money code and our emails about new arrivals, deals and events.
- Notifications, only if you turn them on in the shop or our app: your browser gives us a delivery address on its own notification service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft). It holds no name, email or phone number. Turn them off at any time from the shop footer or your device settings.
- Your mobile number, only if you tick the separate box asking us to text you VIP offers. We save it with the exact wording you agreed to and when. Leave the box unticked and no number is collected.
- Your cart, which is stored in your own browser and never leaves your device until you check out.
What we never see
Your card number is never sent to our servers. Payments are handled by Square, and card details go directly from your browser to Square's systems. We receive only confirmation that the payment succeeded, and the last four digits. The same is true of Apple Pay and Afterpay.

Afterpay is shown at checkout as one of Square's payment options, and sees only what it needs to run your payment plan. That is the whole list. If we ever move the VIP list to another email service, it will be named here before your address is shared with it. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell data to brokers.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits. It tells us how many
people visit, which pages and products they look at, roughly where
they are (to the city), what device they use, and when an order is
placed (its number and amount, nothing about you). That is how we
learn what to stock and which posts bring people in. To recognise a
returning browser it sets two cookies on this site, named
_ga and _ga_ followed by our ID, which last
up to two years. Google processes this for us as our analytics
provider.
Google's advertising features are switched off for this site: none of it is used for ads, retargeting or ad personalisation, and there is no Facebook pixel or any other advertising tracker. To opt out, use Google's opt-out browser add-on or block cookies for this site; the shop works exactly the same either way.
A few small things are kept in your own browser, not in a cookie: your shopping cart, so it survives a refresh; whether you have closed or claimed the Torres Money offer or the app banner, so they do not keep popping up; and a copy of the site's styles and images, so the app opens quickly and can show a page when you are offline. None of it leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data for this site removes it.
Our fonts are served from our own servers, so no font company is told which pages you read. Product photographs load from Square, because Square is where our inventory and its photos live — that is the same Square listed above, not an extra company. At checkout, Square and Afterpay load their payment forms directly, which is exactly what keeps your card details away from us.
We email you about your order — confirmation, shipping, and any problem that needs your input. We do not add you to a marketing list because you bought something.
Promotional email goes only to people who joined the VIP list. Every one of those emails has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect straight away. A Torres Money code you already have keeps working after you unsubscribe.
Text messages
If you opt in to texts, we use your number only to send Torres Co. offers and news. We do not share or sell your mobile number or your text-message consent to anyone for their own marketing. The only other company that sees it is the texting service that delivers the messages for us, which will be named here before any text is sent. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts. How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and warranty purposes. You can ask us to delete your personal details at any time and we will, except where we are legally required to retain a transaction record.
The VIP list is kept for as long as you stay subscribed. Within 30 days of unsubscribing, or straight away if you ask us to delete it, your name and email address are erased. We keep only a one-way scrambled form of the address, which cannot be turned back into your email, and the record of your one code, so that the same offer cannot be claimed twice.

This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
